Description

Organ Exploration

Get an up-close view of the workings of this historic instrument and learn about the use of organ today. This one-hour course will give you a glimpse as to how your piano skills can transfer to organ and spark an early love of organ study. Learn about the keyboards, pedals, stops, and gadgets, culminating with the opportunity for all students to try the organ themselves.

Students will select a preferred date for this experience out of 3 possible dates.

Prerequisite: Students should have a minimum of 2 years of previous experience on piano, be able to read music, and have a strong sense of rhythm. It is strongly recommended that students have prepared and bring in a Bach invention.
